Island Lake Lodge is really two camps in one  a housekeeping lodge which can accommodate up to 12 people in a large central camp, and a row of separate housekeeping cabins for smaller parties. 

The Main Lodge can comfortably accommodate up to twelve (12) people and is ideal for large parties, families, or corporate groups. Washroom facilities are housed in a separate building which has shower stalls, wash basins and toilets. The main camp includes a recreation area for cards & darts, an open fireplace and sitting area. Adjacent is a mammoth kitchen equipped with two propane refrigerators, two commercial size stoves/ovens, a wood stove, pots & pans, dishes, and all necessary cooking, serving & eating utensils

Outside, guests can enjoy horseshoes, campfires, a BBQ (propane BBQs on site), a makeshift swing, boating, canoeing, hiking, wildlife viewing, and outdoor photography.

For fishing and boating on the big lake, sturdy 15-foot steel boats and reliable, late-model 8-HP or 9.9-HP outboards are available. Also included are paddles, an anchor, lifejackets, and mixed fuel.

Housekeeping cabins Accommodations are in rustic, log cabins - most with screened porches. Each cabin has a complete kitchen with propane stove / oven & refrigerator, pots & pans, dishes and all serving / eating utensils.
 

A deluxe, 2-bedroom vertical-log cabin has been built at Island Lake to provide the most comfortable stay possible. With a shower and bath, complete kitchen, and a large sitting / dining area, this cabin offers all the conveniences and is ideal for families or couples.

Bathrooms have indoor plumbing, toilets and either a shower or bath. In all there are five cabins, each of which accommodates between four and eight persons. The larger cabins offer large sitting areas, and some a fireplace. Electricity can be generated on site for lighting and small appliances.

As with the main lodge, boats, motors, dock, fuel, PFDs, anchor, and paddles are included with fishing packages. A central firepit and horseshoe pits are shared by camp guests.
